The UNITE HERE Local 47 Burial Fund contribution
of sixty ($60) dollars is due each and every year on April 1.
This Fund was created by the members for the members and their families.
Please ensure the sixty ($60) dollars are forwarded to the Union Hall
before each and every April 1st in order to ensure the continuation of
the Burial Fund.
None of us want to think of the possibility of needing
to access these funds but it is a comfort to know that the fund is there
when needed.
If a member passes away the beneficiary will receive $7,500. If a spouse
of a member passes away the member will receive $2,500 and if a child of
a member passes away the member will receive $1,000.
IMPORTANT:
Failure to pay the yearly Burial Fund Fee may result in an indefinite
ban from this Assistance Program
